Connors began his career as a child actor and after an extensive career on stage took his expertise in direction, production and design to create Murder Mansion, a seasonal haunted house attraction now in its 16th operating season. 

 

"As an actor/director we are trained to begin any new play or musical with a thorough analysis of all the characters.  Who they are, where they come from, what events shaped them, what they believe in, and most importantly, what exactly are they fighting for in each and every scene?  Where exactly are we in the arc of this character's story and what discoveries do they make?  How do they progress and grow by the end of the play?  This is the same place I begin when I write a book for no amount of location, action or other details can make up for a book full of underdeveloped characters."

 

Connors is originally from rural KY and currently resides near Chicago but has lived all across the US including stints in Seattle, WA, Medford, OR, Las Vegas, NV, Boston, MA, and Apple Valley, CA just to name a few.  When not writing (or helping other authors with their own work) he is an avid home chef/baker and an active member of the Theater of Western Springs.
